I'm looking for somebody in southern Arizona who has purchase a Glen Ray 2998956 radiator & actually drives their car. We have extreme heat here in Tucson but I still like to do the night time car shows. I would like to talk to someone 1st hand before I make the purchase so if you live in Phoenix, Tucson, Yuma or whatever & you drive your car during these extreme temperatures, I would really like to hear from you. I'm not interested in aluminum radiators & extra fans. Thank you, Joe

I drove my Cuda into vegas from utah at 110°.
The engine never overheated, 3 row factory rad. We were melting.
However..., the gas was boiling in the carb and I was experencing vapor lock while driving 70mph.
The only cure was to use more gas, either downshift, or floor it, and blow a big black cloud. Within 30seconds of getting new gas in carburator, it would run fine.
Didn't dare stop or turn off, had to floor it once while Nevada highway patrol was behind me.

I suspect a factory radiator would've done better. This is a aftermarket purchased from Classic Industries (Not my favorite place). 3 half inch rows, 26"...but a thin 3 row.....Joe
