Happy thanksgiving everyone. I wish I was working on my car instead but I will tomorrow so I have a question.

Are there any alternatives to welding the 4 speed hump ?

If I cut the hump are there any alternatives to welding it ? Maybe a strong bond?

I don't have a welder or know how to weld and I'd hate to tow the car to a shop then back.

Hmm I guess I could leave the carpet off and have the exhaust, hump and torque shaft bracket welded all together 🤔

yes there are , you can use a seam sealer between & either screw or pop rivit it into place or there are good panel glues so if you have it clean you can bond it together with glue & still add 4 pop rivits or screws if you choose .

I used autobody panel bond on Greg's floor hump. What a great way to go, fast and it seam seals it at the same time. Pretty much need the special gun to apply it though.

Be aware that they have different speeds of curing and pick the one that suits your job best. Don't over clamp it either and read the tech sheets. You'll be happy you did.
