She's loaded up and the 985 mile trip back to Tn. begins in the morning. So just a brief rundown floors, frame rails, all body panels are solid. The bowling ball size hole in the trunk catches a few inches of the drivers side inner fender well. The only bubbling up I can see through the vinyl top is one spot the size of a nickel, so we'll see what really under it once removed. The interior is all there and in great shape, crack free original Cuda dash comes with it, seats will need recovering, door panels are nice. Pistol grip shifter is missing but is some where and will give it to Paul to send to me. The shifter in it now is B&M ram-rod shifter from the 70's. The pattern is a straight back and forth for drag racing no H pattern.  Has a built  340 in it now but was a 318 Cuda it does have a BS vin on the dash and driver door sticker. I'll tell you what I paid you'll thinks it's a lie but it's not I paid $3000.00 yup 3K. Here are some pics.

Good 340 engines can bring more then $3k.  And you got a whole Cuda for that much!   :bravo:  If it's half as solid as it looks you got a smoking deal.   Thanks for the updates man.  You have to be super excited about that one.  Drive safe on the way home.   :driving:

That is a killer score! Lots of goodies there. Congratulations. So was it a original 318 4 speed car?

You can't go wrong with that.  Non-numbers so there is no obligation or expectation.  Build it the way you want.  Super cool!

What a deal! What a steal!   :unbelievable:

How did you find the lead for it?

Seems fair :dunno: It's nice to have a low entry fee for sure, but the cost of restoration is still the same = not cheap :crying:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....

Thanks everyone and yes it was a good score just to make it clear the seller was no dummy here's how the deal went down. My friend Paul called 18 months ago and told me about the car, but the guy wouldn't sell it to me because he didn't know me or what I might do build wise with the car. He wanted  the car put back as close to what it looked like new not butchered. So I was in the middle of a restoration of a Z28, yes a Mopar guy with a Chevy lol. I finished the car took it to the World of Wheels  and won my class. Paul showed him the pics of it at the show and he called me three days later and said if I'll do a job like that I could have in for 3K yep he named the price. So I jumped on it and now he has a place to park his 2018 He'll Cat when he get it Spring. I'd like mine to turn out like the Cuda in my pics here.
