:wrenching: Well my boy and I sorted through the old parts bins thoroughly and found enough MoPar to build a custom 440 Hemi drag car!  8) We've had a heck of a time getting it to run right tho, flames seem to be shooting everywhere when we try to start it despite our best efforts to tune it. Being a full custom build, where should I start problem solving?  :burnout:

You need to advance your spark timing.  It's lighting off too late, and the fuel hasn't completed its burn before it's getting dumped into the exhaust.

You'll notice a big jump in power too, because advancing the timing will build more pressure in the chamber, producing more torque.

Uhmm... I think you got serious problems. It appears you have flames coming out of the spark plug holes. I'd recommend fixing that first then get back to us.  :looney:

HAHAHA!  Took me a minute to catch on and then was literally laughing out loud.  That's great!   :))
