If you could only have one e-body which one would it be?
Not what you would/could have ordered, but select from what was actually made.
Post up the VIN, fender tag, pictures etc.

Mine would be JS27ROB100022. In any of it's iterations.
Started as Hemi convertible, TX9, 4.10 Dana, shaker, power windows. Then, it was transformed into the Yellow Jacket and finally the Diamante.

Before I even opened your post, my pick is also the Diamante. 2nd choice would be the Mod Top Hemi Cuda that got stolen from Steve Juliano and never recovered.

RUNCHARGER

Probably Saruk's 71 Hemi Challenger that he brought back from Sweden, Finland or somewhere over in Europe.

Sheldon I didn't realize that this car was so close to both of us. Have you seen it or the owners collection?

RUNCHARGER

I know Dave and have seen quite a few of his other cars but not the Challenger yet.

I am always amazed on how small the mopar community actually is on a global scale. I cant imagine some of the collections held by such a small amount of people compared to chevy or ford collectors

RUNCHARGER

For sure: There are quite a few fellows that maintain a low profile and you would be amazed at what they have.

A 71 hemi vert Cuda or Challenger. Either one. Then I'd sell it and buy a '72-4.
And travel the world with the leftover $$.

I'd be happy just to get my old convertible back for the same price I sold it for in 1995 . :crying:

The '71 hemi Challenger was from Switzerland.  I don't know if it was elsewhere in Europe when it was purchased and shipped to Canada a few years ago, but it started out in Switzerland.
I'm tempted to say one of the Posey Trans Am racers. However, the stipulation here is if you could only have one E body.  What everyone lists here are museum pieces, or in the case of my race car, something that would require very deep pockets to take to vintage race events, which is not in my pay grade, so the car would just be a museum piece for me, sit in my garage all the time.
I have several nice #77 models and they serve me about as well as having the real car would.
So I take a different path, something I've pondered thinking about my little collection, if I could only keep one which one?
I'd take my convertible over my 2 six pack cars.  Why? certainly the 2 six packs are sexier and have more wow factor.  But my convertible is more enjoyable to drive around on fair weather days, to cruises, shows or just for a little spin.
So if I only could have one, it's going to be the one I use most.
I have a bunch of models on display of sexy and wow factor E bodies I can look at without having to trek out to my garage!

If I had the Diamante, I would be sure to exercise it now and again. It has less than 1000 miles on it.

My initial thought was to "raid" The Brothers collection and abscond with one of their HemiCuda 'verts  :vipermanhiding:

But then I reflected on Brad's thoughts on the subject ... and realized that I would probably want the same thing ... something that I could drive and enjoy  :stayinlane:

With that in mind, it would probably be a '71 383 Cuda 'vert, FJ6 or GY3 exterior, H5XW interior, PS, PB, PW and AC ...   I think that ought to do it!!  :veryexcited:
Cheers!
