Would   Eb7(69)  and  Ef7(70)  be a different shade of blue?

Never heard of Ef7, but an "f" colour would be green :alan2cents:

EV2RTSE

It believe it is designated as EB7 for both 1969 & 1970, PPG leaves off the first letter but the paint code stayed the same, #2020. No FB7 that I know of. For 1971 & 72 it changed to GB7 and the PPG code changed to #2302. So apparently a different shade of blue, if only slightly.

In the case of EV2 as another example it is designated EV2 for 1969, 1970, 1971, and 1972 and the PPG code # is always 2186.
