Cool car Dave! Hope you can make it work. The first thing is to get it. You can figure out the restoration process later. It doesn't all have to be done at once. Good luck.

Not from Dave , The black 4 spd was his first car , I doubt that would be going anywhere  :stop:

I hope that Cuda finds a way to come home with you Dave. Great combo :inlove:

The owner was from what I know a good paint man, he painted many cars in his day around here . . Last I saw the car  . . . Looked great from 20ft.  I need to ask where the car is and go look at it . . I'm thinking I may say my e-body buddies say not worth over 40k and see what happens . . .
Drive it like you stole it . . . And they're CHASING you!

Get some good photos and I'm sure we can get you close and what would be a fair price.

Is it a 4 speed?  My first thought is a 440 Cuda is around $60k, but if it's a true triple black shaker Cuda then I could see it being closer to the $80k range if it is numbers matching and has a tag or sheet.  If it's a 4 speed it might be closer to the $85K range when done.   :alan2cents:

Do you know the condition of it now?  Rust, original paint, restored once?

Saw a restored '70 'Cuda 440 with A/C, PS,PB, console,non-shaker hood, 15" rallye wheels with Goodyear Polyglas tire,  etc. and an auto sell at Barrett Jackson yesterday for only $62K.  It was F5 with a matching blue interior.  Even being a auto, I thought it would have gone for more.

Hope you get it Dave.

Ask if she is willing to put it on a rack for a complete underside inspection before you decide on what you're willing to offer.

I was under the impression it was a "U" code.

A "U" code N96 car is pretty rare :alan2cents:
