N95 coded 71 340 Cuda

Need some help on the N95 code for my 71 340 Cuda. Being from NY I have no idea what goes into a N95 code. Does this mean the car must have been sold in CA. In 71 from what is see it's called NOX. The wire harness is original and has extra plugs that where taped off.
I would like to make it look original again. Anyone with a 71 340 cuda Auto trans have this to show me.

In 1970 the N95 was only required in CA.  At some point (not sure if it was 71, 72 or ?) the N95 or NOX, or whatever anyone wants to call it was on all cars.  It was the start of standard emissions.

Thanks to all. The question I had is solved. I found some old pictures of the car and spoke with the past owner and we confirmed it had the NOX system on the car.
He took it off (did not know what it was) and believes he has the parts in his Garage. May have found the original parts, I will know Monday
