This car is close to me.  Super rusty from Pennsylvania.
Apparently the rear quarters are just tack screwed on top of the rusty originals.
I know, 60K to restore the hunk.  But give me some opinions on the car.
It has some relatively rare things.  Mostly the black on black on black.  3 speed.

I was super excited as the car is a BH.  I was really hoping it had the M46 on it.

The guy told me it's a black car originally and I think that would just look awesome black on black on black with a black out on the bottom .  Only color would be the reflective stripe.  I'm imagining that reflective stripe in blue on a triple black car.

OH, he wants 4500.  That's too much in my opinion.  I have purchased one just like this a few years ago for 1500 bucks. But a southern rusted car.  not a pennsylvania rusted car.  Upper east coast cars are the WORST!!!

So, talk me out of this hooptie parts car.

I just don't find many tx9 cars ever.  Very rare one to find.  Even in a G code :barf:

The black is neat but that car is only worth what you can milk from the parts.

Agreed, $1500 sounds about right without seeing underneath it.

I was confused when I read 727 and 3 speed manual but the E44 shows 318 2 barrel. I cant see finding a 70 for $1500 anymore these days. As long as you know you'll have more into it then it's worth but if its the car you want you have to decide. If all the frame rails are shot along with the firewall it would have to be pretty rare to go that deep. Is it a complete car?  Finding stuff they don't reproduce is getting a lot tougher and pricy!

@cuda hunter  025628 is the VON, vehicle order number. the last six numbers of the VIN 242108 is the sequence number.  :alan2cents:

And if its an auto it would be a 904 not a 727...   6's and 318's got 904's.
