Hello, i have found a set of new reproduction 70-71 Hemi valve covers for sale. they are NOT Mopar Performance. I believe they were made by New York Restomod / Yesterday's Muscle Cars. Has anyone ever dealt with these or know of anyone who has. I am trying to determine if they are a quality product or not, and if i should purchase them or continue the hunt for a set of used ones.
Thanks for the help

Not sure how many versions there are out there. I have heard the repros are flimsey and leak though. I made my own for my last two cars from original Mopar 66-69 covers and wedge cover parts.

It actually wasn't a bad job. careful cutting, polishing the welds (no bondo with the engine heat and all). I think I chopped up 70-318 covers for the parts. I think I'm going to make one more set for my garage display engine, it has 69 style on it now but I like the 70 engine look better.

Would be a great YouTube video:

Converting 66-69 Hemi Valve covers to 70-71.
Those are much less at about $200 a pair.
