Original never used supercharger battery

Hey, just cleaning the garage and forgot I have this Bartery. it's unused and also have the acid that came with it. Not really sure what it is for but figured with the knowledge on here someone would know.

Not really sure but its got to be from 60s/70s I would think, it has never had the acid installed.

Pretty cool.

So it never sulfated itself to death.

But the paper/insulation inside might be decayed.

the 383s still got the group 24 STANDARD, but once the 440 or HEMI was chosen the group 27 was included

at this point I think it would be best as a display piece

That battery is listed in the '74 parts catalog. Not sure when they stopped making them.
Pretty cool finding that battery.
I would keep it as a display pc. as mentioned above. Or donate it to a museum.
