 Hello. I had a wiper motor stop returning the wipers to the park position. It appears that the wiper motor is the larger motor (three speed) which has some wires cut? My wipers only operate at slow & fast speed (two speed). Is the three speed wiper motor the correct one for my car? Should I replace it with a two speed motor?   Thanks !!!

You can tell by the switch. It's either a 2 speed switch. 2 clicks only. Or 3 for the 3 speed or variable speed switch also 3 speed only

Check your ground connection to the wiper motor.  If it goes bad, then the 3 speed/variable speed motors basically get one super-fast speed and sometimes a slow one.  But nothing in-between.
