Once again, I would love any insight on something that has me stumped.
Three of my Cudas have Overhead Consoles. Two of these were installed many years after original production but using OEM parts. Of the three Low Fuel relays, only one has part number 2983828 which I can read is correct per the manual. The two other Low Fuel relays have part number 2983336 on them. I have tested the two different part number relays side by side and they look and appear to perform exactly the same.
Question: What application does the Low Fuel relay part number 2983336 come from? What Mopar? Or is it a service part number?

Mr Cuda

I have more info to add to your mystery. What book are you referencing?
The 828 relay should be a later production. I have one with a 73 date code.
The 336 relay came out of a 70 gran coupe, with a 69 date.
Either will work.

Attached is the single page image of the parts list document I use with the low fuel relay numbers circled. The other images are my relays and dates that I have access to with much effort.
-two 336, with date code 2529 and 2459, correct for 1970 year.
-one 828 with date code 2450, correct for 1971 year.
I wonder if 828 took over after 1970. Both numbers do work identically as I tested.
