Do the END, EN1 and EN2 end codes on a tag have different meanings or are they interchangeable?  I noticed a tag yesterday that had "EN2" at the end and I have never seen that on a primary tag, only on a second tag if it was a 2 tag car.

Thoughts?

I thought the "EN2" was second shift or second assembly line

That could be.  Makes sense but I thought I would ask the question. Thanks!

EN1   End of Sales Codes on Fender Tag (Vehicle Assembled on production line #1)
EN2   End of Sales Codes on Fender Tag (Vehicle Assembled on production line #2)
END   End of Sales Codes on Fender Tag

Not all plants had 2 production lines.
