B12-B15  november 12th to 15th possibly.

Thank you cuda hunter. Always great finding more pieces to the puzzle. I gave what I could to Barry Washington, which wasn't much but my car was a previously unknown. My 340 car's VIN fell between a 440-6 car & a hemi car....Joe

Ok, so Barry has already narrowed you down to B16 then?

Ah, of course.  Good ole Barry.  Wouldn't want to misrepresent a car with a "actual" detail.  Good you got some info from him though.  Very very long story here.
I don't have anywhere near the information that man does.  I am simply going by my little bit of recorded history.

He gave me 2 VINs that I fell between. No other details. I decoded from there. I sent you a PM...Joe

Anyone had any luck with the aftermarket rally hoods? I see different manufactures. OER, Sherman, Golden Star. Finding a good original is hard as I need one without the tie-down holes. I had an original but it got stolen from a previous body shop.

I purchased 2 hoods for my project, both used.  1 from FL and 1 from a member here, but I can't remember what state.  The 1 from FL is an AMD shaker hood, fit is good and quality seems good as well.  The original rallye hood is in great shape and very rust free.  It was not terrible to ship either.

I recommend posting on here and searching local ads, you will find something.  If you don't want to wait, the AMD seems like a decent choice.  The hood is WAY better than the AMD front fenders I had.

I would bet all of the aftermarket hoods are from the same manufacturer
