Anyone purchase and install one of the reproduction 6-way seatframes that are available ?

Since original 6-way seats can be difficult to find in nice working condition or are rusted junk needing a ton of work to make operational - Looking for input on the overall quality, fit & function of the reproduction seat compared to an original one.

I've used one that tended to pop out of position, not sure if it was a common issue with all of them or not.  :dunno:

I never had any problems with the ones we had made as long as their still made the same, what is important, grease the mechanism really good before you put it in.  I made a fixture to bolt them down and install a seat to test them before I shipped them.  If your car isn't an original 6-way seat car, I would suggest not putting it in, it raises the seat 1" or better and shoves your legs up into the bottom of the steering wheel.
