Sanders repro glass

Has anyone purchased from these people before? Now I have not taken any measurements, but the (special) model has smaller dimensions as compared to the other rear window they sell for a challenger. I'm assuming this is the "SE" version?

@1972V21Cuda yea me neither, but i also never heard of a company that reproduces the SE version of rear window. I'm gonna measure my SE rear window tomorrow to see if the measurements on here are accurate with my original.

14 x 46 is the approximate size of the SE rear glass. If this is legitimate, it is the first I have heard of someone repopping the SE rear glass. In general, I would recommend AMD for most replacement glass. AMD glass is the correct thickness.

@headejm i don't think AMD makes the rear glass though. I figured since I'm replacing all my glass, i wouldn't mind having the rear one new as well

Correct, AMD doesn't make the SE rear glass. This is the first time I have heard of Sanders Repro Glass. My comment was more about the windshield, door glass, and quarter glass. I would recommend AMD for those.

@Cuda Cody looks like these guys are in Vancouver, WA. Do you know anything about them. Prices look reasonable.

I called and realized they have the same part number for both SE and non SE models. So i doubt they make the smaller SE version, even if they advertise different sized glass.

So i also looked into them. They also advertise the SE window, and this time have different model number for rear windows. I called and the guy on the line confirmed that they do sell the SE version of rear glass. Just fyi

Good to know! I'm just glad I didn't break mine taking it out, storing it for three years, and putting it back in.
