Interesting.

They did make a 1971 Scat Pack brochure from what I've seen.

My wife's Challenger has a December SPD and a lot of 1970 stuff including a 1970 type trunk floor.

I know the decal has been on the car for at least 30 years but who knows before that.

My Challenger has a mid June SPD and the decal has been there for at least 17 years and looks just as weathered.

Does the location of the decal look correct?

The decal on my Challenger (I posted a pic of on page 1) is lower on the window and a little more towards the rear.

here's the 1,871 mile original owner '71 Challenger R/T that went thru Mecum a couple years ago

no Bees, but it does have "R/T" fender emblems and stripes  :dunno: lots of confusion surrounding actual build facts for '71 R/Ts

Yes I have been studying that car for awhile especially the R/T and Challenger fender emblems.

I have never seen that placement combination of emblems on a 71 R/T Challenger, R/T side stripe or not.

I bought some adhesive repop Challenger emblems and I was planning on copying that setup on my wife's Challenger as her dad already installed the R/T fender emblems. I have no idea if that' is even close to being correct as I've seen 2 or 3 different 71 R/T fender emblem styles. :notsure:
