Found this today in my 71 Challenger.  WTH?

Any theories on how it got there?  I'll start:

1.  Ford and Chrysler banded together briefly to overcome a seatbelt shortage resulting from a general strike at Pontenier Corp.  During a one-day period in May 1971, a limited number of Challengers were shipped to Ford to have various seatbelt components installed.  This little-known event propels my car into elite one-of-one status and significantly increases its value.

2.  A previous owner installed an extra long cheater seat belt in the back to accommodate his chubby kid.

It's weird because the correct e-body belts are there too.  Just an extra random single Ford belt.  Not really surprising, the previous owner was a MacGyver-type.

Is there three belt sets in the rear, someone likely added it  :alan2cents:

It might be a one-of-one but a Mopar with Fird parts doesn't increase it's value. Sorry pal!
