Did Ta's come with rocker mouldings?? I didn't think so.  I have a picture of a TA in pieces w fender tag that has moulding clips on the rocker panel.

I have pictures of the car and there are rocker moulding clips on the passenger side rocker. There is picture of the fender tag also.

So is there a picture of the fender tag?  Is there anything that may lead to those rockers like a moulding group code?

Oh: That would be a bad idea.

No the tag has only M21.

anlauto

Does it have a broadcast sheet? Is M25 there?
Both the recent 1970 Challenger I've restored had body sill moldings and had M25 on the tag.

This car is 47 years old, it's possible they were added, maybe even at the dealer....or it could be a factory screw up, who knows?

And without more info it's hard for these experts to give a real opinion.

I have read through the years they said that rocker moldings and wheel lip moldings were not available on the TA's. Yes, you never say never with Mopar. I have never seen any broadcast sheet or fender tag to prove they were installed.  I am sure they can be dealer installed or a mistake from the factory. I have a picture of a Plum Ta that has wheel lip moldings but no paper work that they were factory installed. I am very glad to ask these questions, there is lots of knowledge and data that has been researched by anlauto, Cuda Cody, 6bblgt, and other members of this site! I am just looking to get some answers on these 2 subjects.             Happy to be a member Great site!

Thank You to all for some answers.

Sill Mouldings - sales code M25 were available on all '70 Challengers.

6bblgt

doesn't mean they don't exist or were not built, but .....

I have NOT seen an original broadcast sheet, fender tag or window sticker for a "TRANS AM" E-body OPTIONED with M25 - "sill mouldings"
