wow, cool story so far.
It seems like a win-win (for E-bodies), either she gets it restored or possibly you can buy and restore.
It is certainly not the worst example of "barn-find", but still quite a bit of work!!

So what's the story is it for sale ?

Well I think she wants to have it restored but i dont think she has any idea of whats involved, I told her I'd come take a look at it and let her know what I thought and to see if she is willing to go though with it or not. I told her I'd be interested in the car and give it a good home if she wanted to sell it
I'm sure there is some sentimental feeling for the car as it was her husband's but we shall see.

I know some one that can restore it back to original for her  :)

So, with what you can see from the pictures and zoomed in pics, what do you think a restoration on this car would cost?   Of course there will be some unknown unseen metal problems.
Sounds like Cordodge might like that opinion to tell her what he thinks a few people's ideas are.

Good luck on your interesting barn find.
I wonder if this will turn out like cudahunter's 72 Cuda find,  that the owner was over optimistic on price.
Who knows who has been coaching her on price. They  forgot the pigeons to get the full barn effect.

Except my ONLY cuda barn find is a 72, with no V21.  And no shaker.  Just a lowly 72.
This one, would be worth a boat load more.
I hope ya get the car @cordodge and put it at least in a better place than it is.

Yeah we shall see and yes it deserves not to be laying there in that state for sure.

In Canada a basic complete ground up restoration starts at $80K CDN and goes up from there. :bigmoney:

Yeah that's what I was going to tell her if she wants it done correctly and yes that would still depend on the condition for sure

Call these guys. On a serious note, even if it just needs painting let her know that alone is in the $25K area up here.

That doesn't count for dismantling, media blasting or rust repair....that's on top of the $25K :alan2cents:

Mr Cuda

I'm still waiting for the 60k ask, IF it's for sale.
If I recall from the opening post, she came up to you.  How did you get so lucky?
