Painted my `72 in `96 and STILL haven`t decided to put a stripe on it or not.  I love the AAR stripe but also like the `72 stripe as you don`t see it that often and of course the `73-4 stripe is also nice, of course there is always the `70 hockey stick stripe or the billboard. I think for yours white would really stand out but if you have black interior you might want black, either way I think stick with the `73 style stripe if you want the somewhat stock look.
