This was in the trunk of my Challenger when I bought it. I assume it is a E body but not sure of what year ?

Don't know about 70 or 71.

Makes sense. There were a few parts for 73-74 Challengers in the trunk like grille and tail lights.
Thanks

Yup, 72-4 not 70-71though allot of guys use them cause it is a decent looking wheel...

Deadeye74

My '74 Cuda had it...all original.

it's the only factory available steering wheel for ALL 1972-'74 e-bodies

Burdar

That's the ONLY wheel that was used on a 72-74 E-body.  No other wheel was available.

As a kid I remember dad driving the car with just one finger in the outer hole of the spoke.  That just tells you how "over boosted" the PS is on these cars.

Rich G.

It's a great wheel but you do want to stick your fingers in the holes while you're cruising but it sucks when you have to turn and you can't get them out! I know!

Maybe, and to help with manual steering?  The issue for me was the lack of leg room as this wheel hangs down low and always trapped my legs and rubbed on my jeans.
