What is this

What is this, I know it's a lamp but what for. It says title switch lamp.

If I had to guess....I would say on an E Body it would be part of the A01 light group and be the flood lamp that's in the far left corner of the dash light bar. It's purpose would be to illuminate the three or four switches and there "titles" in the corner of the dash

It could be for a lamp to laminate the heater and or AC controls.    Some cars had them, some did not.

I was thinking the same, but got to figure out why I am not getting power to that bulb
