I gotta admit, I had no idea this thread would go the way it did. But I too hope that some of the veterans from years past come back.

I've been here since 2016 or so (2017?) and I'm not going anywhere. I definitely utilize the FB side though. The best thing about the forum is the archiving. It's like an encyclopedia.

I concur with the possibility that having a social media profile may have been a mistake, especially in clicking "like" on probably millions of things now. I'd bet some Ai machine has ground out a psych profile on me for sure.     However, I placed an ad a couple of years ago on FB market place for a couple of shaker hoods I realized I'd never use. Lo and behold, a local guy (5 miles from my house) came over and bought them. Turns out he has two verts. A 70 and a 71 (Challengers) and has been hoarding parts galore. I posted here looking for a sway bar and nothing turned up, so I texted him. His reply? "I've got several, and the only way you're getting one is free and I deliver it to you". We've become friends, so I guess there's some good that comes from "social" media. Getting back to the main topic, I miss @anlauto as he is a wealth of information. He's very active on the FB side.
