  I haven't seen this topic posted and I was reminiscing of the trips I have taken in my 71 Challenger convertible since I've owned it. Here's the list;
1. From Toledo, Ohio to Elkton, Maryland then back to Toledo in July 1972
2. From Toledo to Saratoga Springs, New York in July 72
3. From Saratoga Springs to Toledo, Ohio and eventually to Long Beach, Ca. and then Bremerton, Wa. in 1974.
4. From Bremerton to Toledo in 1975
5. My dad drove it from Toledo to Logan, Ut. in 1977
6. From Logan to Bremerton in 1980
7. From Bremerton to Kennewick, Wa. in 1985.
I've driven it to Boise, Portland, Spokane and other places for car shows. As you can see, I've driven it cross country a couple of times. It was exciting.

CudaA39

My furthest trip in an E body was less than a mile the day we brought home my Cuda in the early 90s.  I still remember it just because I could see the road through the floor when my dad drove me around.

My furthest trip in a B body was the annual drive from Pittsburgh to Columbus for the Nats each year.  160 miles in a non AC 440+6 with 4.10s isn't the most comfortable ride but awesome memories.  One year we shredded a bias ply rear about an hour in.  It stayed inflated, so we limped it to a Goodyear in Columbus on a service road with the tire beating against the quarter panel, 35mph.  I still remember my dad telling the guy at Goodyear about left handed threads, only for the tech to immediately strip the first one with an impact because he didn't believe him.

Not sure of the previous life but my longest trip was the weekend I bought it. Providence RI to Chicago,IL. Took the whole weekend. Friday night and Saturday we're fine. Sunday from Cleveland to Chicago it poured the whole way!

Since then I've driven it annually to the nats and back!

Brads70

I guess for my current Challenger it's the drive to Carlisle . 435 miles each way.

Chryco Psycho

Around 700 miles round trip between Sioux City IA to La Crosse WI and back, 1995ish.

I've put 90-130 miles a day the last 3 Sundays in the mountains west of Boulder with the wife per her request for a break from isolation and this works.  Running nice a strong.
   :D

I'd been considering a road trip from Boulder to Carlisle this year, but that ain't happening.  I have no doubt it would make the drive.

Topcat

San Jose, CA. to Ft. Campbell, KY. in August 81'.

1987..Thunder Bay to Duluth MN and back, about 450 miles.

All considered...not very far...After retirement I'm gonna have to go on a long cruise through Canada and USA.....unless covid kills us all....

I driven from Modesto to Austin Tx round trip a couple times (about 1800 miles one way...). Back in the 80's I drove from San Diego to New Jersey (2750 miles) with a buddy, we had both just gotten out of the Navy... He had a nice California 340 4spd 70 Challenger, he figured it would be nicer than any other Challenger in New Jersey in the early 80's so he wanted to take it home..... He had a long drive to make & I had some free time..   Lost the water pump in Albuquerque... Lost the alternator in Terre Haute.... But we were able to get it done, had allot of fun & like the Navy it was an adventure...

RUNCHARGER

Lots of long trips. I think the most fun although not the longest trips was running my Challenger with the swapped in Hemi to the shows in Red Deer Alberta in the 80's and Seattle area shows in the 90's. Those were only 500-600 mile each way trips. It's a great feeling driving a 3.23 gear Hemi E-body on a road trip. I still remember not sleeping in the Motels though as I heard every noise outside where the car was.

I guess I'm  a novice compared to some of you guys.
Myself and two friends drove to Englistown NJ for the Summer Nationals in 1972 in my Cuda, about 800 mile round trip with 3:91 gears.
Stayed at the same hotel as most of the big racers that weekend, and actually got to hang out with them a bit.
Another same distance round trip was to the Mopar Nats in Ann Arbor in 1985 in the Cuda, same gears.
Got to drive on the high bank oval and get passed by the wingcars.
3:91 gears on trips those days was the norm.

I drove my Muscle cars everywhere back in the late 80's early 90's....we all did. From Ontario, I used to go to Englishtown NJ, Carlisle, Columbus Ohio, even Indy once or twice. We had five guys piled in my Superbird for one trip to Indy... :D

In 1997 I bought my first new car, a Chrysler Sebring SXT convertible....I started driving that to all the shows, even Indy....once I got used to the comfort, I've never drove a muscle car very far since then, we've since just trailered our cars to Carlisle....SAD really  :crying:
I've taught you everything you know....but I haven't taught you everything I know....
