It is an auto. I have yet to look in the seats for BS, as it is an LA car, and most likely not there. The original block/trans is missing. I may have shared the FT with you last year, not sure. I will see if I can find a picture of it. Thanks for the info.

1970 Challenger SE - 1 of ~644 US spec. built with 383 4bbl (JH29N0)

JH29N0E & FC7  8)
JH29N0E114xxx - Oct. '69 - FC7 - HRX9 - E63 - D32 - V1W - N95 - R22
JH29N0E118xxx - Nov. '69 - FC7 - HRX9 - E63 - D32 - V1X - H51 - N95 - R11
JH29N0E13xxxx - Feb. '70 - FC7 - HRX9 - E63 - D32 - V1X - N95 - R35

all things being equal - I'd prefer the one with the flat hood & unique "383 Four-Barrel" emblems

That car got me hooked on E-Bodies!   :inlove:  And a big reason why I have all the cars and the shop I do today.   Do you know where it is now?

No I sure don't.  I sold it to an owner of a dodge dealership in 2007.  He was going to put it in his showroom along side the new challengers.  I'm almost afraid every time I click on RT/SE ad that it might be mine.  I think I would cry.  :crying:

I used to own one of those...JH29N0E. Mine was Hemi Orange, 4-speed, black interior. Selling it was about the stupidest thing I've ever done!   :headbang:

I have mine waiting quietly.

Odd car, after I purchased it. Manual 11" brakes, Manual steering, Max cooling with 956 rad. Everything is there except the original engine. Blew that up in 78, that's when the car

minus the spoiler and the AC but this is what it will be when its redone.

  was caught up in the non-R/T N-code SE 330hp VS. 335hp quandary .....

but:
383 automatic - E & B-body - w/o A/C & w/o ECS
orange HP engine 335hp engine on b'cast "088"
---------- Holley R4368-A ---------- part number 3418 542 on b'cast "42"

as expected

does/did the car have its original door sticker?  was it "AUGUST 1969" or "SEPTEMBER 1969"?
