I know these guys are always on the expensive side, but over 150K for a 318 Barracuda?  Wow.

Contrary to the opinions of some, I am not dumber than I look.

People on crack shouldn't sell cars!
Maybe they will advertise a 1 day only $100,000 off sale on it, and somebody will snatch it up before realizing they still overpaid?

Well...take 8% off of 157k and that is what the OWNER is pricing it at!

I've never heard of calling out the bored amount in the engine displacement callout before!  That's funny actually.  It's a nice 318 cuda but...that's it.  It SHOULD go nowhere at that price but who know now a days.

that might be some dealership's "formula", but I know a $80K car there that's listed over $100K

That is a lot of $ for a 318 hardtop even for a 71. Would be interested in the final sell price.

That's the first In Violet flat hood I've seen on a 70-71.  Damn that's a sexy look.

The plan called for a flat hood on this Barracuda that I restored, but the customer got cold feet and changed his mind at the last minute....much to my dismay  :('

So few seen these days and it just looks right.  Classy but still aggressive.

Keeping the flat hood on mine. You just don't see them that often anymore.

Needs another $100k in blocksanding to make it straight. What a piece. Check out the inner fender patches, painted license plate holder grommets, 2 inch wide quarter lips, quarter to roof joint etc. It's overpriced by about $140,000.
If you've ever block sanded a Cuda you know they're tricky to do and nobody spent the hours needed on this one.

How in the world did they arrive at that price and how much wiggle room is actually in that car? Will someone who pays $100K think they got a great deal?

anlauto

It's evident that a lot of people have more money than brains...it wouldn't surprise me if this car sells, maybe not for the asking price, but somebody will figure they're getting a good deal at $100K like you said  :crazytalk:

No one will pay $100K for a 318 Barracuda unless the world has gone mad.
Oh wait, maybe it has.  :drunk:

The owner sets the price for their car (or at least what they want out of it), Gateway provides a service to market it. So don't hold the outrageous values against them.

Just like trying to buy an "abandoned" vehicle in a barn/farm, people see $$$$ from auctions and think they are sitting on a goldmine.
