It's the tail lights that turn me off. They look to corvettage to me....

I don't hate it....but I agree with Brad, the tail light are a terrible choice. It also appears that they started at the rear of the car with a bunch of modification ideas, than ran out of time or money by the time they got to the front of the car.

The rear end has gone too far, while the front end looks stock  :looney:

Unfortunately there is no value to the paint after you change the side markers either. You could fix the taillights okay but the sidemarkers require major paintwork. Everyone has different taste and I bet they'll find someone who loves it. The hood is kind of neat.

Look how far forward they mounted otherwise stock appearing side view mirrors   that's odd

Not a fan of the taillights either. I would have liked to see them more like this. There is a car for everyone out there.

What about that interior?      :barf:       although I have seen worse...

The problem with a car like this is it only really appeals to the original "designer" because it was their vision.

You might find someone else that likes elements of it, but finding another person that loves every bit of it AND has deep enough pockets to buy it will be a struggle.

And after this expensive "labor of love" of the original owner, why did they get rid of such a personalized car so soon?     Realized how impractical/ugly/etc it really was?

I really love the stock E-body interiors so I really don't even look at a modified interior as I don't like them. It's a major part of the charm of an E-body for me.
I expect the guy built the car with visions of BJ auction and major bux dancing in his head. I like the paint, can live with the stripe, like the hood and with minor changes under the hood looks really good. It is better than most modified cars. He really blew it on the taillights and should have just shaved the side markers off and it would have sold pretty easily I imagine.
