C/L Cuda Hood

Pretty funny - Local guy listed a "vintage Plymouth" hood on C/L recently. Ad included pics of a double bubble Cuda hood. Asking price was $100. Location is the same small town I live in, so it's probably less than 5 min from me. I text that i'm interested in the "cuda hood" and that I'm close by. No response overnight, but the hood is now listed as a "Original Plymouth Cuda Hood" for $500. Doh!!!

Two points:

1 - I am a dumb ass
2 - The Barrett Jackson Cuda-tax is alive and well

I'd go look at the hood anyways ... just got to get your foot in the door and you might just find an untapped parts heap or who knows what the guy has laying around on the property of interest. We usually know who the mopar guys are around our area's but when a new one comes along or comes out from under the rug good things can sometimes come from it.

If you do go to see it in person, check to see if it has crumple zone's. if not then it's an early to mid 1970. I think that would make it more valuable!
