Wow, this is sad.  I'd even say it puts the sad in sadmouth. :'(   A former magazine featured showcar later stored outside under a tarp turned it into one of the rustiest remains of an E body I've ever seen!

Sad as it is, lots of usable parts and if the 426 wedge + a833 are usable it's probably worth the $4400 obo
The only thing flat earthers fear, is sphere itself.

I will just never understand letting a car rot like that.  At some point doesn't one realize "hey, I should sell that junk and put a few bucks in my pocke"?
You can't buy happiness, but you can buy horsepower and that's kind of the same thing.....

I think Florida rust is even worse than upstate NY rust on these cars.

Good thing they kept it covered with a tarp...
Gauges in the grille panel..kinda neat. Not sure if it's useful, but neat.

Ya, I`ll take our New England rust over that any day!

Yes, no Florida rotboxes for me. It seemed once a car was painted in the 70's it didn't last very long either, aftermarket materials weren't the quality they are now, lots of lacquers too.

No pics of the claimed 426 Wedge (and why, even in 80's) and no pics from the claimed magazine feature! Feels a bit suspect, maybe just not a good salesman?

Looks like it was in Car Craft sometime in the 80s.
There is a former Car Craft or Hot Rod project car stored away in the building where I store my '71, a 1980 + or - a year, Camaro, customized in conjunction with Mr Gasket.

Peeling the cover back on it, it still looks mint.
What a contrast compared to this Challenger, why couldn't it have received the same level of care!
