Lesson number one when buying a car to flip.....

https://www.cars-on-line.com/gen3-cars/col1/posting/103831

you really shouldn't advertise it on the same website you bought it from and use the same bullshit description....

Poor Dave Wise having his name attached to a car that has SO MANY things wrong about it when claiming to be the best example in the world... :crazytalk:  "This is one of the finest examples of as close as you can come to the real thing" ...I beg to differ... :-X

Missing just a few details. Some of the additions are interesting too.

Can you expand on what is wrong with the car?

gauges
rusty light bar
Are the seat patterns wrong?
Black shaker
black battery
master cylinder looks aftermarket?

@cuda hunter

For starters

Aftermarket Booster and Master cylinder
Missing rocker moldings and pinch weld blackout(std on Cuda)
Missing belt moldings (std on Cuda)
Missing tail panel moldings (std on Cuda)
Battery keeps changing in the photos. If using an OEM type on a HEMI it would be a red cap Group 27 (maybe they painted the caps green for cosmetics)
Painted fuel vent tube in the trunk

The car is nice, there are dozens of things wrong as mentioned above which bothers me, I don't think they did a very good job of "cloning" a 'Cuda let alone a 1971 Hemicuda convertible...the missing trim is just one example of cutting corners....but what bothers me more is the way the ad was written....

Plymouth Hemi Cuda. This is as close as you will get unless you have about $4-5 million to spend. This car has been under an extensive frame-off/rotisserie 2-year restoration that just finished in August of 2020. It has the Hemi K-Frame installed, Hemi-Radiator, Hemi Torque Boxes, Hemi Rolled Hemi Fenders, a Hemi Fender tag, and so much more. The Green capped battery is for shows. Both batteries go with the car. This is one of the finest examples of as close as you can come to the real thing without breaking the bank. World-renowned Mopar authenticator David Wise came by to put the correct factory markings on this car to make it look even closer to the thing. Mopar performance stock 426 Hemi and 18 Spline Hemi Transmission with a Dana super track pack rear end. Every component in this car is new or freshly restored within the last 200 miles. Over $200,000 has been put into this extravagant build. Here are some facts about a Hemi Cuda Convertible. In 1971, only 6,228 Cuda hardtops and 374 convertibles were built. Only 108 hardtops were built with Hemi engines, and just eleven convertibles had Street Hemi power. There were only two four-speed manual Hemi Cuda convertibles built, which makes them the rarest of them all. The 1971 Hemi Cuda Convertible is no considered one of the most valuable collectible muscle cars. Only 13 were built, and in June of 2014, at Mecum auction in Seattle, a blue four-speed sold for $3.5 million. Feel free to contact me for more information and pictures.

That is a lot of misinformation.  I'd be pretty pissed for being misled for that kind of coin.  Although, if I were to spend that much money on a car I would think that I would learn every little bolt on the car before I spent the cash.

You are right cuda hunter. If I were going to spend that money, I would know know every code, nut bolt on the car before I took a look at the car. This has to be used car dealer hype! What a joke.

Purepony

I hope he looses his ass! Lolz
Just getting tired of all this buy this hunk of metal and flip it for millions!

B5fourspeed

It is not a real hemi Cuda so why does half the ad talk about real hemi Cuda's.

1972V21Cuda

I'm really content with a 340. The whole Hemi thing is in the stratosphere.

JS29

Ya I am content with my 383, It dose the job just fine.

B5fourspeed

I helped Topcat put his Hemi in his 71 Cuda.I could not believe how cramped the engine compartment is.Not to mention removing half of the top end to replace the spark plugs. The only thing I would put a Hemi in would be a boat.
