Yellow with a gator top! Lots of options.  I wonder if it was a dealer showroom demo car when new?  JH23L0B155820 for future reference.
Probably too far gone for anyone to consider trying to restore.

Very complete car loaded with cool options, I would guess it's likely a 1 of 1 car with its options. Car is very complete, has numbers matching trans and engine is a warranty block, unstamped. Car is a major project, has rust everywhere. Have not looked for build sheet, but do have fender tag. Would be a breathtaking car restored.

Nice options but not a dealer promo car. Rim blow wheel has seen better days. It is missing the letter designation on the fender tag for identifying as a promo car.

Looking at how far the front wheels are up in the fender wells I'd guess the front subframe rotted out and collapsed!
Basically a parts car now, seller should take that $6900 bid and run!
Some valuable parts there like almost unobtainium these days big block AC lines.

I'm not sure I agree this car is anything special.  A low performance 383 car with A/C and power brakes.  So it's no power house.  Sure, the yellow and gator roof is nice.  So what?

Loaded with options?  Like what?  The light package?  The majority of options are common and/or standard.  There's nothing terribly unique about it.  Are the rally wheels even original?  I'm not sure the side mirror, is either. I don't think the A93 package comes with a Rim Blow wheel.

Considering how rusty it is, and a non-matching numbers engine, it's not really due a concourse restoration, IMO.  It's gonna take 50K or more to restore it, and what will you have when your done? maybe a car worth 50K, at best.

That said, I bet it sells for 20K or more.  I would not consider it a bargain at anything above 10K.  If it were NOT rusty, that would be another matter entirely.

R/T's 4 R/P

IMO...it's a parts car.
Too bad. They owner probably pushed away numerous interested people over they years and said 'he'd restore it someday'.

I just like cars like this one because it's unique.  I've been an E body guy since I was in HS in the 70s and at this point I have a hard time getting excited about seeing a high impact paint R/T or 'cuda, not because they aren't cool, but because I've seen literally thousands of them by now.
I can't recall ever seeing an E body FY1 with a gator top though, in all those decades.
I've seen that top on some black cars, one red, a few B3 blues, an FK5 or two, but most were F4 green.  My late friend had a purple hemi cuda coded for that top.  His widow told me she thought he'd bought a legendary repro top for the car but never installed it.  Last I heard the cars still in her garage.  If she ever lets it go, I hope the new owner installs the top, which would distinguish it from all the other FC7 Cudas out there!
And now I know of at least one gator top Challenger that was yellow, though we'll likely never see it restored.

I like the fy1 with the V1G
Not common at all.

Aside from that not so different and with lots of rust.

I hope a Gator Grain collector snatch's it up for his collection.
