I wish they had a picture of the fender tag for this one

I wonder why the antenna is on the front fender instead of quarter panel

Isn't the dash trim suppose to have an extra detail were it curves around on a 70 challenger? I don't see it on this one.  :dunno:

I see the word survivor all over that ad.  Yet there is no tan vinyl roof.  Nor is there vinyl roof trim.
Nor is there an antenna on the rear quarter.  That would be a first of all the aar's t/a's I have ever seen.
He mentions there is a "slight" ding on the rear quarter.  That's a lot more than just a slight ding.  That's quite the fix.  Not gonna just pop that out.
My opinion is this car is a rebody.  But I've not seen enough of it.
I've asked for the fender tag readout.
He posts the vin and says there is a ton of documentation supporting the car.
Maybe this is a factory screw up.  Doubt it.

Not sure why you're stating this car is a rebody? when you clearly didn't read the description.
This car has been known for quite some time, sold new in California. Its a factory slick top (no vinyl top) car and I think Barry said this may be one of two or one/one with this color combo. There is no top trim because it did't come that way. With FE5 fas as I know you're not getting a tan top anyway, V1G gator would be as close as you'd get. It's also a factory radio delete car, and the selling dealer added the antenna. Just because it's a T/A doesn't mean the dealer knew what they were doing when the shop was told to install an antenna. This car also has both tags and buildsheet. I may have the fender tag info saved due to the oddball color combo.

It has a rellye dash and it'a 4-speed, with a build sheet to back it up would make it a  :perfect10:

Sorry, I was not accusing it of being a rebody.  Just find it weird that it's a survivor but has no antenna on the rear.
I spoke too soon.  I did read the description but have a hard time with the whole 1 of 1 thing when a dealer can't even give any information that backs that stuff up.
again, apologies for that.  Would like to see some body stamps though.
Dealer has yet to reply to any question of authenticity.

and I did indeed read it wrong.  My mistake.

So, is there another aar or t/a that has been ordered radio delete that the factory did not install a rear antenna?
anyone know the example.

Wow!  That is awesome.  And a good price.  Why is it so cheap?

New to me.
I apologized already for the remark.  I hate putting my foot in my mouth.

@cuda hunter - I do not have the numbers as I don't keep track of that stuff; but radio delete on the Trans Am cars isn't all that uncommon. They are out there. The block off plates are what are hard to come across. Especially the 70' only ribbed Challenger plate.

Here's a few: ** Note no 1/4 antenna on these cars as well

Here's a picture of the tag. I've seen the car and it is in good condition for a car that hasn't been restored but needs a lot of detailing and the dent in the quarter definitely needs to be fixed. Realistically it needs paint and interior. I guess someone could just use it as a driver but I'd probably end up going through the whole car. It's been over priced for some time now.
