Im rebuilding my steering column for my 1970 Cuda and want to replace the turn signal switch.
Who makes the best replacement turn signal switch besides an original Mopar one?
I see Classic Industries ,Year One and Rock Auto all have switches.
Does anyone have any experiance with them and recommendations on what I should use.

The 70-only switches are obviously bordering on unobtanium anymore, I'd suggest spending the money on the NOS 71-up style and then also take a little time swapping out the knob from your original 70 hazard switch. Take a look at what I wrote up here, post #7- has some aftermarket options as well.

Agree: The factory switches are the only ones Ive had any success with.

These are all good suggestions from fellow forum members. I would also suggest (if you haven't done so already) checking out Cody's great videos on "how to ..." totally rebuild E-body steering columns. A lot of good and accurate information on those.

My one suggestion is that since you'll need to purchase a 1971 - 1974 switch, you can simply remove the excess material from the Hazard switch button. If you take your time, I think it's easier (IMO only) to form fit that vs. trying to remove the old button from the '70 switch and installing it on an expensive NOS switch.

And I have found a few USA made aftermarket switches before too. I used that on my build and it seems to work fine.
