1970 SB starters

I'm a little confused on what is the correct starter for small block engines in 1970.  In the following picture is a complete starter with a 2095219 nose and a 2875560 armature (190 date code). Also in the picture is a 1970 date coded housing 2875553. The difference in the starters is that the solenoid mounting was updated to have 2 external through holes for better mounting. A=old style, B=new style.
According to the 70/71 Chrysler parts guide the starter that is correct for my 1970 Challenger is 2875560. So is style "A" correct, or did the part number of the starter stay the same (2875560) for both styles ?

I thought there was only 1 starter used in 1970?     I bet Jim Ridge would know for sure what one is correct.  I'll send him an email and see what he says....

"Cody - We believe the change over from the "150" old style (A) to the stronger, more reliable "560" type (B) was in April of 1969. So a 1970 production line starter should be numbered 2875560 on the field coil can and 2875553 on the nose (aluminum gear drive housing). This is based solely on originals we have personally documented during restoration work.
As you know nothing is impossible when it comes to Chrysler but doubt you would ever see the two types matted although it'a physically possible."

I reviewed the Starter section in the David Wise E-body reference and it claims that the 2095219 nose goes on a 2095150 starter and a 2875553 nose 2875560 starter.  Looking at the date code of my 2095219 nose (Jan 69) and the starter build date of 190 (19th week of 1970) I believe I have a combination of the 2 starters. wrong nose (and brush holder) on the correct armature. Probably was a rebuilt starter.  Sine I now know for sure that a 2875553 nose on a 2875560 starter is what is correct, I will rebuild my starter with the correct parts.
