Hey guys. How do you "jump out" or bypass the Dash dimmer control? Thx.

Chryco Psycho

there are a number of ways to do this , you need to jump the power in to the power out generally orange wire
There are crimp splices like this https://www.ebay.com/itm/ELECTRICAL-TAP-SPLICE-NO-WIRE-STRIPPING-OR-CRIMPING-18-16-AWG-4/400730300399?hash=item5d4d631fef:g:ezIAAOxyRhBS89Rp
you can open up the blind side so 2 wires can be connected without cutting while allowing both wires to pass through the connector .
you could solder a jumper to the switch terminals or
just force a paperclip into the back of both connectors

Years ago on my '72 I think I just unpluged the switch and used a short piece of 14/2 romex (removed a single insulated piece), stripped the ends and jumpered like Chryco described.
