Barracuda 70-71 Rear license plate light

On the rear license plate light of 70/71 CUDAs was there a connection point like a bullet style connection or was it a solid wire from the wiring harness to light socket.

Solid wire. I have a spare taillight harness in the basement.

The wire harness with the bullet connector is designed for a harness that exits the inside of the car to attach to the light, usually bumper mounted like a Challenger. Barracuda doesn't exit the interior of the car, therefore no extra connection

Ok learned something new. Yea at some point in the cars life the wire got cut it's the same wire on both sides a black wire with a white tracer. Just has a bullet connection.
