Hi all!

Dash lights don't work on my car. I read the problem may come from the dimmer switch. (Fuses are Ok, wiring looks good to)
Before order a new one if this one is dead i would to know how i can refresh it?
Any tips to clean it of dust and oxidation?

Thank you!

Make sure the contacts are clean & the coil also , lightly clean with a fine emery cloth ,
if you short the wires do the lights come on ?
If you need a new one JSrestorations is the man to use

To short the wires, i connect the blackd and yellows together? Correct?

Sorry for silly question but electricity is really not my cup of tea as you can see...

I do not have the wiring diagram here but orange si generally dash lighting , test withh a multi meter one will have power & the other will have resistance to ground through the bulbs

Problem solved after a good cleaning of the dimmer witch.

Also fixed wiper glass bug when they don't come back at the good position... Ground issue!

What I like about his is that the resistance coil is stainless steel.
Congrats on the fixes.
