74 Challenger, there's a blue and a green wire that goes on the back of the heater control, near as I can figure. Not sure why mine is off. Probably one of those Murray things.  :bricks:  I think they both attach to spades in the middle of the control, horizontally speaking. Which is top and which is bottom? Sorry, the picture is actually upside down.

Thanks @anlauto  Do those wires run the fan? Mine hasn't been working. Also, are the three spades on the left for A/C?

I think the three spade plug is what controls the blower motor.

Now that I think about it that would make sense because the three terminals is likely what gives different speeds, not?

I got back at this today. There is keyed power on the green wire. I'm assuming this is correct. With the controls in A/C, MAX A/C or the OFF setting I have power on the blue terminal. At no time do I have any power on any terminal of the three pronged plug. What's up?

I figured I'd pop in over here on your other thread to see how you are making out..Your two wires in question are simply the A/C clutch feed wire circuit...Green would be the accessory feed hot, blue is the switched hot for the clutch itself activated by the control unit..Look around under there you need your 3 prong connector to plug in to the control unit.EDIT:.Look at the link Shawge posted it pretty much has all the info..

It seems my control is pouched.  :Thud:  I put a jumper wire in the three prong plug and the fan runs on one speed. That's better than no speed for now.

Maybe not...It appears one speed is run through the control{defrost?} and the rest are routed through the blower switch.. Plug it all in and try it..

I did plug it in. In the three prong plug the centre one is black which is power. With it plugged in I have no power on either side terminal at any speed setting.
