I purchased a radio, http://www.radiosforoldcars.com/pdf-specsheets/1972-74_Mopar_E.pdf, for my 1973 Dodge Challenger from http://www.radiosforoldcars.com/.  Has anyone used this same radio?  I have a lot of static noise but it's not like it's coming from the engine.  There is static with the engine off.  Plus, I would think it being a 'modern' radio of sort, it should have built in shielding if that was the problem.  I don't want to play it too loud but the static drives me crazy considering the cost of the radio.  Another issue I have is when I turn the inside knobs, the outer knobs turn as well, or vice versa.  I just want a stock looking radio that functions well.  Am I doing something wrong or is the quality just not worth the cost?  Thanks.
