Ignition switch

I replaced my ignition switch and found the new switch has some larger gauge wire on it. In turn that means larger connectors so when connected to the old harness it is not a tight fit. Has anyone had this problem? Are all replacement sws. the same way. Switch came from mega parts no idea who makes it.

Also, replaced the ignition switch on my '70 'Cuda.  I didn't have that issue.  Everything fit as it should.  Sorry, I don't remember who I bought it through.
