I am sure this has been asked and answered before but I am having trouble finding the right harness or harnesses for my engine compartment.  Every listing I have found so far that indicates it is for my year model is either wrong (in photos) or is missing connectors like the ignition module, voltage regulator, ballast and others.  I have seen a listing that has the module and reg but it say's it's for the wrong year.  Some suppliers list my car but show no photos of the harnesses and since the photos I have seen are wrong I am hesitant to possibly waste time in ordering blindly.  I thought it would be more simple and maybe it is but I have not found them yet.

The car is a '72 Cuda built in April of '72; 340; automatic, electronic ignition w/4-pin ballast; factory A/C.  There are 2 main harnesses coming off the bulkhead connector with white connectors.  As far as I know it is all original.

Any help appreciated, thanks!

Order from Year One, I believe they are the exclusive supplier for M&H Wire Harnesses and they are really good. Wait for a 30% off sale, they seem to have them frequently these days. I ordered an engine harness for my '73 340 Challenger (non-a/c) a few years ago and it's really nice, everything hooked up perfectly.

You can also call Evens Wiring Harness . I've used him on all the cars I've done.

Thanks for the leads guys.  The online pictures make it hard to see what connectors these harnesses have, and descriptions are vague.  I have not seen any address that they have the alternator, coil, or ignition and regulator controls ... those are pretty important.

There are two harnesses I have not ID'd as yet... and the connectors for the steering column have been molested with clipped wires.  Perhaps from these photos someone can help ID the harnesses, and maybe tell me what the heck is going on with the column connectors.  I took two photos of each connector end.    The car did "run when parked" and everything worked  :)
I want to put it back together whole though unless there is some reason to the clipped wires madness.

I would consider replacing your main dash wire harness by the look of those old burnt out wires  :alan2cents:

Was that burned and melted black connector your fusable link?  :unbelievable:

I have to take another look at it and see.  Something the prior owner did; clipped the black and red wires on the male and female ends of the column connection.  :notsure:
