To be clear, the map light switch does not switch any power, is not feed by any power. It switches the ground to the bulb, either through the switch case to the dash frame for manual on with doors closed or through the dome lamp pin switches to have it part of the interior lights. Nothing to do with the time delay for the ignition switch lamp.
