Hi Guys,

I need your feedback about the tachometer kit from RT Engineering!

My new engine is currently rebuilding and the distributor and coil will be from MSD.
So i would like to know how accurate the tachometer reads when you rebuild the Rallye Gauge tachometer with this kit and using MSD stuffs...

I have already bought an aftermarket tachometer but keeping the original look of the rallye gauge would be cool. So before i spend more money i want to be sure it will work fine. I don't want a crazy tachometer needle.

Thanks!

They make a kit that I have installed in many tachometers for customers , you do need the cailbration tool

My buddy has the calibration tool!

So no problem and works just fine with MSD set up?

Thanks @Chryco Psycho

If you have the original or reproduction tach it will work fine with the MSD if you use their tach adapter. If you have your tach rebuilt and updated with modern internals most will work fine without anything else. The factory and reopo tach will bounce around with MSD without the adapter. Simple item to install if that brand has issues.
