Reinstalled the A-833 in my 73 chally; when I rebuilt it I found an incorrect reverse switch and the harness had been butchered to accommodate the wrong switch, so I bought a new reverse harness which obviously goes from the firewall to the tranny switch ( and the dash reverse light).
My question is, what is the correct way to route this harness to factory specs from the fire wall to the tranny? Does it drop straight down, or does it go over to the drivers side frame rail where the speedo cable is, and then go down and under to the tranny?

similar to the automatic it crosses the firewall & goes down the right side of the trans & goes over the top where the tailhousing bolts on & comes down tight tot he trans under the shift rods to the switch
