What's the deal with TSS!!

Well Mopar is known for great motor parts, but the bottom dropped out in the making of turn signal switches LOL
I'm ready to replace my third one now and the last one I just installed at the start of the season didn't last long.
I hear talks of ground trouble, is there a way to wire an extra ground for extra help for the switch? Or should I be thinking of putting random ground points at each grape as it goes back to the lights?

I can't speak to the specific turn signal switch issue, but I put extra grounds on the individual tail lights as well as the dash frame and have no light-related issues (that's the sound of wood be knocked upon in the background).   I don't think you can go wrong with extra grounds.

Smart move! I think that is why you breathe through with no trouble, do you mind taking a couple of snapshots so I can see, I'm sure to do the same, you pull it out of the harness?

What issue are you having with the switches?  The only thing in the column that switches ground is the horn switch; all of the ignition and turn signal switch functionality is positive switched.  Adding grounds to it will not do anything.

I'd say theres a 90% plus chance the turn signal switches you've bought are the junk aftermarket Chinese crap that everybody sells...  I hated to do it but theres a reason I dropped $250 for a real deal NOS switch...

Dang!!! 2 large on that switch!.. and yes you are absolutely right I am getting the cheap ones from RockAuto, so I take that back from what I said I would think the original would be pretty good lasting for years and years, to get to the New millennium LOL

I'm having all sorts of issues with my TSS, I first put it in the start of the season because I had no brake lights tested everything in it that was the culprit, everything worked fine for a little while until I had no driver's side directional and brake light check the bulbs check for power let me back to the TSS tried to stick my tester in the column without taking the wheel off, I must have Disturbed something in there now I have no brake lights and no directions at all not even in the front I must have popped a wire out something cheap, Kamikaze TSS's

So I put the new TSS in , I'll be at a cheap one but nonetheless wires seem to be connected well and new,
  All four directionals are not working none of them, change both flasher relays, the only power I'm getting out from the TSS is from the pink wire and the black /white trace wire .
  Getting a very small reading from the hazard flasher like 01 or 2 tops, but they are working, nothing from the turn signal flasher relay.
  Rear light harness has power just at the pink wire nothing else.
  Any ideas or things to check or should I just be focused on contacting Jim at RS restorations, for a real deal TSS?

@Caparco - one possibility to look into - Check your fuse that feeds the lighter... That powers up the same circuit for TSS... I think it was #8 on my Cuda

My TSS just quit working the other day, outa nowhere... Lacked power coming through the turn signal relay.... traced that back to fuse block.

The fuse wasn't bad, either... but the fuse holder tabs riveted to the fuse block were a little funky, and not making good connection. (Original fuse block)

I sprayed them with a little WD-40, and twisted them back and forth around the rivet, installed fuse, and Ta-Da!

Blinkers worked fine after that...
