I am installing the horns on my Challenger and cannot get them to beep. What is the best way to troubleshoot them? Also where is the horn relay located? Thenks,Wayne

Ground issue (was the engine bay just painted?).   :alan2cents:  Relay is on the bulkhead.

The Horn Relay is on the top of your fusebox, see attached pic.

Thanks for the photo as I do not have a horn relay on my fuse block!!

Cuda Cody

1970 is a 1 year only relay.  That's why the new bulkheads are sold with the 1971+ style.  Is your bulkhead original?

Wayno56

Yes my fuse block and harness are original

@Cuda Cody , same problem, I do have a new wire harness. Cant get mine to beep either. But I have not done any trouble shooting, bigger fish to fry. LOL

You can test the horns on the battery ground the bracket & use a jumper wire tot he spade terminal on the horn ,  , the horn switch is a ground circuit , it closes the relay when the switch is pressed

If you need a relay you can get one at RockAuto.

I just bought one of these for my 70 Cuda.  Good price, fast shipping and it works great!
