340 avs pics

Hi All,
I'm hoping to find some parts at the Sacramento Capital City Mopar's Day In The Park show this coming weekend. I originally hacked my 318 parts onto my 340 years ago when I swapped engines. Anyways, years later I'm finishing the rebuild and need the correct brackets and what not. Back in the day people loved to show off the engine without the air cleaner, but all I can find is engine photos with the air cleaners that obscure the linkage and bracket parts. Can some one post a couple photos of a 1970 340 (in the car) with a carter avs without the air cleaner that shows the linkage? That would be awesome!

Actually they list it as used, not available & it's not correct, compare it to your linkage which is correct..

Awesome, thanks. Hopefully that will work.

I was checking my setup last night. Not sure where all my parts are at the moment, but the few I found are way off. I swapped my 318 2bbl with a 340 and put on a much newer thermoquad. I cant figure out which throttle cable mounting bracket I ended up using. LOL. Some how I got it all to work. The things you do when you're 18 and broke. Now I just gotta get the right parts.

Thanks for the clarification.  The seller was listing it for a variety of 340 applications;  Looks like it isn't!   I axed the ad
