CAN ANYONE GUIDE ME TO WHERE I CAN FIND THE CORRECT NUMBERS FOR A 340 1970 CUDA 4 SPEED DRIVE SHAFT.  I KNOW SOMEONE THAT HAS 2 DRIVESHFTS. THE NUMBERS ON THE SHAFT WOULD BE CASING NUMBERS CORRECT OR IS IT THE PART NUMBER? THANKS A CHART WITH THE NUMBERS

73440

 See if the number is 2883769 makes it a 7290 type 2 5/8" inside diameter of yoke , 3.25 " x 43.85" with 8.75" axle and 340 Barracuda.

No number found in part number service guide book by mitchell manuals

From what I know the part number is approx 24" from the rear joint caps, stamped with the part number.

Is the Cuda driveshaft like a Challenger driveshaft with a 7260 on one end and a 7290 on the other? I just about pitched my original 340 Challenger driveshaft when I seen that as I thought it wasn't a factory setup. Glad I kept it.

Cuda Cody

My guess would be #2883769 Barracuda Propeller Shaft 43.85" Length x 3.25" Diameter w/ type 7290 yoke (2.625")
